1. Complimentary Tickets to the Irish National Sustainability Summit – 3 Nov.
IrBEA members are offered complimentary delegate passes to the National Sustainability Summit on the 3rd November in the Aviva Stadium, Dublin. You simply need to register online for a delegate badge. In essence The National Sustainability Summit consists of 9 events in one, bringing together over 2000 key stakeholders and over 75 speakers from sectors such as construction/building, manufacturing, food & agriculture, healthcare, IT, transport, renewable energy, tourism, finance, water, environment, retail, hospitality, logistics, supply chain etc. that have been instrumental in creating a more sustainable Ireland.
2. Cré-IrBEA R&D Forum, 4 Nov – *** FREE … and still time to register ***.
Cré and IrBEA identified the need for a stand-alone event on R&D for the compost, anaerobic digestion and biomass sector. The aim is to strengthen links between industry and academia. Keynote address by Damien English, Minister of State at the Department of Education and Skills & the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation. The event takes place from 10am-12 noon on the 4th November 2015 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry, Dublin. 3. Wood Energy Solutions’ Open/Biomass Information Day.
WES extends an invitation to their manufacturing facility in Cahir, Co. Tipperary, on Thursday 26th November to celebrate the move to their new premises and to bring together organisations and individuals, both public and private, who have a direct interest in the biomass industry for a networking and information sharing event. The event is to highlight awareness of a cluster of biomass industry stakeholders and will include:
- WES boiler factory tour, trade stands from other biomass participants (pellet suppliers, wood chip, fuel storage suppliers, etc).
- Presentations from key note speakers on forthcoming RHI and grant aid initiatives for biomass heating.

4. Submission on biofuels consultation.
