A Short review of changes to the AEBIOM Board
AEBIOM is negotiating for about a year now to integrate two new entities for pellets and biogas in its membership. It was also decided in December 2009 to enlarge the Board to maximum 5 new Directors coming from associated members. This is becoming concrete now as AEBIOM have found an agreement with the European Pellets Council and the European Biogas Association, as follow :
European Pellets Council - EPC : EPC will work as a working group inside AEBIOM with a certain decision autonomy regarding pellets and especially regarding a new certification scheme for pellets quality called EN plus. Several national pellets associations will become new AEBIOM associated members.
European Biogas Association - EBA :
After several meetings a agreement was found and EBA will become AEBIOM associate member. Unlike EPC, EBA is a dedicated European association. AEBIOM and EBA will work in close collaboration regarding biogas issues and EBA will chair the biogas working group.
